Tower Hamlets YOU were invited to man a stand and present at the Tower Hamlets Youth & Connexions Service Staff Conference, held at the London Muslim Centre on Tuesday, 3rd.November 2009.

The theme of the Conference was ‘Enabling Young People to become Resilient and Resourceful’.

The Conference was attended some 100 youth workers and representatives of after school/ learning village projects.

Three Air Cadets made an excellent joint presentation on behalf of YOU and this was well received by, in the past, a hesitant audience. Credit should also be given to Sgt Richard Curran and Sqn Ldr. Neil Knowles RAFVR(T) for their support for this very successful event which has led for Tower Hamlets YOU being invited to attend further Youth Services ‘Open’ days and participating after school club events.
