Fire Cadets Award at Livery visit

On Tuesday 11th November, the Fire Cadet central team (Sara Perez, WM Lee Small and Cadet Unit Leader Annetta Hawkins), six Volunteer Cadet Instructors, twelve Fire Cadets from Newham and two Graduate Fire Cadets from Waltham Forest (Jack and Laila) attended the Worshipful Company of Fire Fighters prestigious annual Dinner.  The aim of attending was to raise awareness of the Fire Cadet scheme in London and encourage organisations to give support by making charitable donations to the Worshipful Company of Firefighters (WCoFF).

WCoFF has been a part of each Fire Cadet pass-out ceremony for the last two years, and always present a certificate of excellence to the most outstanding Fire Cadet at the end of each course, as well as some gift vouchers.  The WCoFF has also provided funding for Fire Cadets in the past and want to continue that partnership in the future.  At this occasion Waltham Forest graduate Cadet Laila was presented with her certificate by WCoFF Master Bryan Spearman and brought the whole audience to rapturous applause after giving a very tear-jerking heartfelt speech about how much Fire Cadets has meant to her.
