Invitation to World Youth Skills Day – Saturday 13 July 2019

The Army will be delivering a one-day celebration of World Youth Skills Day at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) on Saturday 13 July 2019.  World Youth Skills Day is a United Nations celebration to raise awareness of the importance of young people and developing their skills.
The Sandhurst event is aimed at young people aged between 12-16 years who are already part of a uniformed youth organisation. The day will be inspirational and aspirational for all who attend, with the aim being to challenge them and develop their leadership, communication, problem solving and team skills through a series of command task type activities.
There are places available for up to 400 young people from youth organisations from around the UK. The event is only open to those already in uniformed youth organisations, who should enter in teams of up to ten with one adult instructor per team.
A link to the registration form is below.
This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to take advantage of free leadership training from the world-renowned Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
