NHS Go – new app helps young people take control of their health

Today sees the launch of a new health app and website to help young people take greater control over their health from an early age; make healthier choices and get advice and information on health issues from a trusted source when they don’t know where to go

NHS Go has been developed by Healthy London Partnership, a partnership between all 32 London Clinical Commissioning Groups, and NHS England (London region).

Healthy London Partnership worked with young people from across London to find out what they needed to improve their access to relevant health information and advice. Young people have been involved every step of the way from creating NHS Go, testing it and working with us on the campaign to promote it make it easier for them to access relevant health information.  NHS Go uses content from the NHS Choices website that has been adapted to suit a younger audience.

NHS Go is available on iOS and android and young people can download it via www.NHSGo.uk, Google Play or the Apple store.
