Big Challenges for Lewisham Youth Teams

Young people from the borough’s youth groups battled it out on Sunday to gain top prize in Lewisham’s 2015 YOU Challenge. London Fire Cadets aim to become Leaders of the Future … thanks to YOU London and CVQO

Paulina Chojecka and Christine Sandford, both of London Fire Brigade Cadets, have been learning how to become leaders of the future at a week-long Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) course run by vocational education charity CVQO. Wanstead and Woodford Air Cadets scoop prize Trophy

Wanstead and Wooodford Air Cadets from 241 Squadron Air Training Corps have, for the second year running,  won the coveted Elworthy Trophy, the country’s only tri-service cadet military skills competition (17 October). Nigel Baldwin Whitehead Prime Warden of the Blacksmiths Livery Company sponsors of the competition presented the Elworthy Trophy to the winning team. The ‘Runners
