Youth and Veterans Celebrate VE Day with A 1945 Street-Themed Party in Tower Hamlets

GLRFCA Rep Councillor Nigel Betts of Bexley joined YOU London Co-ordinator Michael Nolan on a visit to the LIFE course being held at Erith Fire Station on 17th March.  The course leader had asked YOU London to come and talk to the ten students about the wealth of opportunities offered by the YOU London organisations.

Members of the YOU London organisations played their part in the spectacular Jack Petchey Foundation Ignite Festival of Youth on Sunday 16th March at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. At a Parliamentary reception on 10th December, Communities Secretary Eric Pickles MP met young people who have benefitted from a government funding programme and saw first-hand how it had helped change their lives.
