The Lord Mayor’s Show 2019
The 804th Lord Mayor’s Show on Saturday 9th November saw the usual mix of military, pomp, music and madness! Highlights of this year’s show included a Massey Ferguson tractor and a British Farmers Market stall stocked full of fresh, seasonal produce; people dressed as crumpets; a life-size replica of the ‘Red Dwarf Starbug’ on the AA float and even a float by the Rwandan High Commission to promote the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Rwanda in 2020. The new Lord Mayor’s Ward is Bread Street, so there were also lots of bread-related items in the show!
