Army, Air and Sea Cadets from across London and the South East came together to participate in the Cadet Enterprise Challenge 2026, hosted by the Worshipful Company of Fletchers in partnership with other Livery Companies, HQ London District and the Reserve Forces' and Cadets' Association for Greater London, supported by a fantastic team of volunteers.
Throughout the day, teams tackled a series of challenges across the City, testing their leadership, teamwork, communication, problem-solving and initiative while discovering more about the history, traditions and charitable work of City Livery Companies.
A huge thank you to participating Livery Companies, to Mansion House for hosting the prize-giving, and to the Lady Mayor, Dame Susan Langley DBE, and Consort for presenting the awards and celebrating the achievements of every cadet. Thanks must go too to every adult volunteer present at the event, to hall staff, Clerks and supporters whose enthusiasm and commitment made the day possible.
Most importantly, congratulations to every cadet that took part, who represented their units with professionalism, determination and great spirit. The Cadet Enterprise Challenge demonstrates the enduring partnership between the City of London, the Livery movement and the Armed Forces community, investing in the confidence, leadership and future potential of young people.
