Boys' Brigade

For young people aged 5–18

The London District Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association has over 60 independent groups with more than 700 leaders working with over 1,500 children and young people throughout the London and Kent area, enabling them to live 'life to the full'.

From craft activities, baking and games to sports, woodwork and life skills, there is something for everyone from the age of 5 to the age of 18, at one of our local groups. Trips and residentials also form a key part of our programme and enable our members to learn, grow and discover in a fun, safe and caring environment. Our work is rooted in the Christian faith, but we accept members and volunteers from all faiths and none, believing in the abilities, skills and ideas of each person.

Volunteer with the Boys' Brigade

Volunteering with a local group can be an incredibly rewarding experience. You not only get to give back to your community but also make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people. By taking up a volunteering role, you can help create a safe, engaging and fun environment for them to learn and grow.

Additionally, volunteering can provide you with the opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people and gain valuable experience that can boost your career prospects — from marketing and social media to accounting, administration, driving and delivering weekly activities. Whatever your skill set, there's a role for you!

BB's just brilliant, it's given me the chance to do so much – the highlight for me each year is our annual summer camp!
